Congratulations on taking 3rd in the first track meet of the season! The boys took 16 athletes to the Northern Badger Large School Classic as many athletes were out on spring break, but were still able to come home with a 3rd place finish. Outstanding performances were put in by the field athletes where seniors Grayson Bates and Pierce Lewis both took first in the high jump and pole vault, respectively. Pierce tied the indoor school record with a jump of 13 ft! Also taking firsts were junior Luke Bakken in the 3200m and sophomore Owen Sampson in the 800m. Sampson came back to anchor the 2nd place 4x400m of Matt McGrath (12th), Hunter Jacobson (11th)and EJ Heglund (12th), while Bakken was hotly pursued by senior teammate Caden Sherman who also finished 2nd overall in the two mile.
